Engage in enlightening discussions, partake in meaningful rituals, and forge lasting connections with fellow brethren

A fabulous night of fraternal camaraderie was enjoyed by the home team and away fans of Athenian Lodge No 8415, London's Football Lodge, in May.

W Bro Andy Cooper was installed as the new Head Coach and went on to install his teammates in customised offices such as Linesmen (Deacons), Goalkeeper (Inner Guard) and 1st Team Physio (Almoner).

Several yellow cards were issued by the referee for late attendance & phone alerts in the temple!

The post-match meal was a raucous affair which included a live screening of the European Cup Final and a special version of the 'fire'. The Away terrace was packed with fans from Sussex Football Lodge, Football Lodge No 9921 and The Kent Club, which made for a friendly & lively atmosphere throughout.

Athenian Lodge was founded in 1972 with connections to the old Athenian Football League. It was wonderful to see the Lodge using its football roots to encourage new members and reinvigorate its existing Brethren through a mutual love of football.
