On 29th November 2024 under dispensation, Baltic Chapter No 3006 met at Freemasons’ Hall, where they received 20 joining members from the Metropolitan Grand Almoners Team, in order to become the ‘Almoners’ Chapter’. This has been a long time in planning and execution and a successful installation of all officers was witnessed by a meeting attendance of a size that the Baltic Chapter had not seen for several years. E Comp Darrel Palmer, Metropolitan Grand Almoner, was installed as First Principal, E Comp Julian Brown was installed as Second Principal and E Comp Steve Fanthorpe as Third Principal.

The Officers were existing Members of Baltic Chapter alongside the new incoming Joining Members. Baltic was honoured to have E Comp Timothy L'Estrange, Deputy Metropolitan Grand Superintendent, as guest of honour; he was accompanied by E Comp David Ellis OBE, Metropolitan Grand Inspector for Baltic Chapter, together with an entourage of Metropolitan and Supreme Grand Chapter Officers.

The Chapter has an exaltation planned and is accepting membership from all Almoners or anyone interested in becoming a Lodge or Chapter Almoner. As with most Chapters, you will be more than welcome even if you just want to visit.

Please contact E Comp Jason Pearson at info@londonalmoner.uk for more information.
