At its March 2024 Installation Meeting, Walthamstow Lodge No 2472, presented a cheque for £10,000 as its contribution to the London Air Ambulance Charity’s “Up Against Time” fundraising campaign.

To mark the occasion of W Bro Guy Hammerton's second term as Walthamstow's Worshipful Master, the Lodge received W Bro Gary Moss, Metropolitan Grand Inspector PJGD, PGStB (RA), who gratefully accepted the cheque on behalf of the Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London.

In addition, Walthamstow welcomed many guests and visitors including members of French Freemasonry including:

TRF Rene Belo, Provincial Grand Master of Flanders; RF Jacques Mullem, Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies; RF Robert Ferbus, Provincial Grand Orateur of Flanders, RF Maurice Borgmann, Past Provincial Deputy Grand Master of Flanders; TVF Frederic Meneboo, Deputy Provincial Grand Superintendant of Flanders; and TVF Thierry Beghin, Past Provincial Grand Standard Bearer of Flanders.

Members, distinguished guests and visitors later partook of a bumper festive board at the Connaught Rooms. For details on Walthamstow Lodge, contact W. Bro David Potter, Secretary at david.potter32@btinternet.com
