Connecting Craft and Royal Arch at Ubique

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations.

Zetland Lodge actively supports Masonic charities and has also supported a number of non-masonic charities over the years

The Kent Club for London Freemasons organises social events for Masons and their families.

Engage in enlightening discussions, partake in meaningful rituals, and forge lasting connections with fellow brethren

On 28th September 2024 at Mark Masons’ Hall, Ubique in the East Lodge No 3338 witnessed a presentation of “Talking Heads – The Next Step: Into the Royal Arch”; a playlet given by three approved presenters – in this case W Bros Peter Locke, Keith Johnson and Bro Paddy Cooper – with an opportunity afterwards for questions and answers. The team was led by Metropolitan Grand Inspector, W Bro Tony Shepherd.

Developed by Metropolitan Grand Chapter, “Talking Heads” introduces the Royal Arch to new Master Masons; or indeed re-introduces the Order to Craft Masons who might have been members, or used to go, but who found it difficult to understand and perhaps lapsed.

It covers the history of the Order, its close links to the Craft and why the Royal Arch is the climax and completion of pure antient Freemasonry. It also discusses the time and financial commitments involved in being a member, and how to discover more and find a Chapter to join.
